Who We Are
Open Government Products (OGP) is an experimental technology team within the Singapore Government. We build technology for public good — creating products that directly improve the lives of millions of people in Singapore.
We operate with the speed and autonomy of a startup, while working on problems with national scale and impact. Our teams are made up of engineers, designers, product managers, and operators who identify real public problems, rapidly prototype solutions, and bring them into production.
Our products span citizen-facing services and critical internal government systems. We work in small, empowered teams with high ownership, minimal bureaucracy, and a strong open-source and engineering culture.
The Team
In 2024, over S$1.1B was lost to scams in Singapore. Numbers for the first half of 2025 have shaped up to be in the same range. Public awareness and education about scams is not enough, we need active efforts in preventing scams from happening in the first place.
You will be joining the ScamShield team, which builds and operates Singapore's national anti-scam platform. As Singapore's unified citizen-facing brand for anti-scam efforts, ScamShield protects citizens from scam messages, calls, and links through AI-powered detection systems, provides tools for government agencies like the Singapore Police Force to coordinate anti-scam efforts at scale, and is expanding into scam awareness and education to help citizens recognise and avoid scams before they happen.
