Open Government Products (OGP) operates like a startup within the government; We are a fast-paced, dynamic team of engineers, designers, and product managers dedicated to public good. We autonomously identify opportunities to solve public problems using tech, rapidly prototype, and launch solutions—from citizen apps to automating public agency operations. What you will do
We’re looking for a proactive and resourceful Workplace Executive (Office Manager) to take ownership of our day-to-day office operations and make our workplace a great environment for our team to thrive. You’ll be the go-to person for all things office-related - ensuring our space runs smoothly, is well-stocked, welcoming, and supports focused collaborative work.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll run office operations independently on-site. Beyond the essentials, you’ll also have the opportunity to improve processes, introduce new systems, and shape how we work better together.
You will report directly to Senior Manager, Workplace Experience and work closely with our Digital Workplace and People and Finance Team.
As the Workplace Executive, you will have the following responsibilities:
Office Operations – Ensure the smooth running of the office by managing supplies, equipment, furniture, and AV setups; oversee space utilisation and upkeep.
Assets & Inventory – Track and manage office assets, devices, and consumables with accuracy, including timely procurement, delivery, and replenishment.
People Support – Support officer on/offboarding by preparing equipment, access, and workspace needs.
Vendor & Facilities Management – Manage vendor relationships, oversee maintenance contracts, and liaise with building management to ensure services and facilities are delivered effectively.
Workplace Experience – Respond to team feedback, surface improvements, and implement measures to enhance comfort, safety, and productivity in the office.
Community & Events – Coordinate team activities such as townhalls, socials, and welfare initiatives, and support events hosted in our office.
Process & Systems Improvement – Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, improve vendor and cost management, and introduce tools or systems that make the team’s experience smoother.
The long-term goal of OGP is not just to be a high-performing team itself, but to apply our success and transform the Singapore Government as a whole into a modern, high-performing organisation. This role is not about passively keeping the team running well, but about proactively exploring, implementing, and propagating practices so that the Singapore Government becomes the best place where the best people can work on the most important problems.
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for someone with strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as solid knowledge of office administration practices. The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks with high attention to detail, and remain comfortable with ambiguity will be important. Familiarity with AV setups and proficiency in productivity tools (e.g. Slack, Google Workspace) will be preferred.
Specifically, we are looking for individuals who:
Have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Bring a problem-solving mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing needs
Have experience with facilities management, procurement systems, or light IT / systems administration
Are confident communicators who can build good relationships with teammates, vendors, and visitors
Are comfortable with office equipment, AV setups, and productivity tools (Logitech, Google Workspace, Slack, etc)
Have a genuine interest in creating a great workplace experience and making an impact for the public good
(Good to have) Are familiar in managing access and troubleshooting common enterprise services such as Okta, Google Workspace, 1Password, and Slack
(Good to have) Are comfortable to learn how to manage Mac hardware and related device management systems such as Kandji

Projects OGP has worked on include:
ParkingSG — A mobile app alternative to parking coupons. It lets users pay, extend, and refund their parking sessions just using their phones.
RedeemSG — Helps the Singapore Government to create, send and track redemptions of digital vouchers easily.
COVID-19 Vaccination — A suite of systems built to enable Singapore's national vaccination campaign for COVID-19. This includes informational sites, appointment booking systems, and records management systems.
Isomer — Provides government agencies with an easy-to-deploy static website building and hosting service to create usable, secure and faster informational websites quickly.
